Children's Birthday Parties - Custom Classes - Corporate & Private Events

Lillstreet Art Center is the perfect place for your next office retreat, class field trip, family reunion, girls night out, team-building event...any type of gathering! Our creative staff is eager to customize a special class to fit the needs of your group. Enjoy a creative, hands-on artmaking experience with friends or coworkers. No experience necessary! Just call or stop by the front desk to make arrangements for your unique event. 773-769-4226.

Please schedule your event at least 3 weeks in advance. A 50% deposit will be required to reserve your date/ time, and we appreciate a call 1 week in advance to confirm your total attendees. No refunds or cancellations within two weeks of your event date.  Deposits are not refundable, but may be applied to a future event if you need to cancel and reschedule. 

Birthday Parties

We offer a special way to celebrate your child's special day, from toddlers to teenagers! Your child and their friends will have a wonderful time exploring the word of art!

Toddler and kids choose from clay or multimedia projects.
Teens can work with clay or metals.

Parties are usually scheduled for Saturday or Sunday afternoon, between 12-5pm, for up to 2 hours. (Other days/ times may be available. Please call 773-769-4226 to inquire.) If you have a special theme, we'll develop a special project just for your party!

Lillstreet provides:

• Invitations
• Goodie bags for each guest
• Two private rooms
• Teachers & assistants
• Project supplies
• Refrigerator and freezer
• Firing & glazing for all clay projects

You provide decorations, food, and utensils.
Please allow 2 weeks for clay pieces to be glazed and fired. We'll contact you when they're ready for pick-up. 

TODDLER CLAY PARTIES (ages 3-4)

• $235 for up to 8 children with adults
• Parties are 90 minutes long--the last half hour is for your celebration
• Toddlers and parent or guardian work side-by-side
• Project might include: cereal bowls, butterflies & caterpillars, dinosaurs, reptiles and other critters, birds nests, pretend food

YOUTH PARTIES (ages 5-18)

• $280 for up to 12 guests
• $370 for up to 18 guests
• $440 for up to 24 guests
• Parties are 2 hours long--the last half hour is for your celebration
• Projects might include: masks, outer space clay, shrinky dinks, bowls, mugs, clay animals, miniature worlds, awesome accessories

METALSMITHING PARTIES (ages 12-18)

• $280 for up to 8 guests
• $315 for up to 12 guests
• Parties are 2 hours long - the last half hour is for your celebration
• Projects might includes: jewelry or small sculpture in silver, brass, copper, or nickel.
