Class Description
Originally Canopic Jars were used by the Egyptians during the mummification process to store and preserve the viscera of their owners for the afterlife. Today these objects of antiquity are viewed for their beauty and interest. In this workshop students may choose to handbuild a traditional or create their own contemporary design jar.
