This class will teach students the essentials of working with Photoshop. We’ll start by learning about the workspace and all the tools, including brushes, paint, and flow. Next we’ll learn how to edit imagery on screen with adjustments such as levels, curves, hue/saturation, and how to selectively apply those adjustments with masks. We’ll then learn about image resolution and resizing and conclude with a lesson on printing from Photoshop and color management. Students should bring a flash drive with 5-10 images to edit.
